15th Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF) was concluded with a gala closing awards ceremony in Portorož where Futura DDB was announced The Agency of the year. Futura DDB was given the highest number of points for their advertising solutions in individual categories and won the prestigious award for the eight-time.
The Grand prix in the TV commercials category was awarded to Futura DDB for TV commercials Modri ADSL Ribič and Modri ADSL Tuš. Futura DDB was also given golden award for TV commercial Cockta Light (kozarec brez dna) and two sliver awards for Čili poli and Donat Odpira.In the Printed ads and posters category Futura DDB was awarded with two golden awards for ads Čista tla and Iščem punco. It also received four silver awards for ads Anus, Pantone 2613, Dirty Harry and Dirty Dancing.
Večni koledar by creative director Žare Kerin, which agency made for Belinka Belles, received golden award in Other advertising means category. In the same category they also received a silver award for Almira Sadar. Furthermore, Futura DDB received silver award in Corporate identity campaign category for Modri ADSL.
“Slovenian advertising festival is a benchmark of creative excellence in Slovenia and we are proud for winning The Agency of the year award again. Now we are even more motivated and impulsive. Creativity and innovation still remain our strongest weapon,“ said Mrs. Marjana Šulman, director of Futura DDB, after receiving “propeller” for the Best Agency of the year.
15th Slovenian Advertising Festival hosted more than 800 participants. President of this year’s festival was Dejan Turk, director of marketing and sales sector at Si.mobil Vodafone. Winners were selected by jury, whose president was Zoran Gabrijan, creative director at Futura DDB. There were 73 competitors with 555 entries competing in 6 different categories and 5 special categories named OFF SOF.
Second best agency this year was Mayer McCann, third place was taken by Pristop.
